There's So Much to Do in Indian Lake!
The beautiful 5,800 acre Indian Lake is surrounded by the friendly villages of Russells Point, Lakeview, Huntsville, Roundhead, and Belle Center. With this vast expanse of interconnected communities, Indian Lake has become one of the premier destinations in Ohio for vacations, retirement, raising a family, and living amongst friends and good people. But it's not just the wonderful people and sense of community available in the area that draws a crowd, it's all the year round recreation that keeps things alive and happening around here!
The Lake itself offers beaches, boating, skiing, swimming, and fishing that draws enthusiasts from all over the state. The local state park facilities offer an abundance of hiking, camping, hunting, and outdoor exploration. Folks around here also enjoy the snowmobiling, ice skating, and ice boating options in the winter. Bike trails surround the lake and countryside and RV parks dot the landscape. Indian Lake has all the amenities and attractions of the biggest wildlife and nature preserves with a local atmosphere that never feels overcrowded, despite the flocks of travelers who visit the area annually.
Most people who visit are impressed with how clean and pristine the natural landscape is kept. Around here, we care a lot about the Lake and all the beautiful natural wonders that make this place so magical. Volunteers work tirelessly every week to keep Indian Lake clean and beautiful and the locals are the first ones to harass the litter bugs and pick up after them. We like our home to be beautiful just the way it is.
